Who we are

Who we are

Street Relief Care is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization founded in February 2024 with a mission to address food insecurity among homeless individuals. We focus on simple, direct, and consistent nutrition support delivered with compassion and respect.

Our work is grounded in community service, accountability, and sustainability. We believe access to nutritious food is a basic human need, and we serve individuals where they are – without barriers, judgment, or conditions.

By operating lean and volunteer-driven, Street Relief Care ensures that resources are used efficiently to maximize impact in underserved communities.

LEADERSHIP

Mussa Ali, Founder and Executive Director of Street Relief Care, launched the organization in 2024 after witnessing the effects of food insecurity in Chicago’s unhoused communities. He leads daily operations, volunteer coordination, and food distribution efforts, ensuring that the organization remains focused on consistent service, dignity, and responsible growth.
